1. Who these terms cover

These terms cover your use of the shapeshifters.dev website. By using the site, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

They are not the contract for project work. If we work together, a separate written agreement for that project sets out the scope, deliverables, timelines and fees. Where this page and that agreement disagree, the agreement for the project is the one that counts.

Shape Shifters is the trading name of Abu Heba for Project Management Services LLC, Al SAQR Business Tower, DIFC, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. "We" and "our" mean that company.

2. What we do

We are a technology consultancy. Work starts with a diagnosis, not a build.

The first conversation is free and lasts 45 minutes. After that the work is paid: we look at how your business actually runs, and write a recommendation you keep. You keep it whether or not you build anything with us, and part of our job is saying when nothing should be built.

If something is worth building, it is quoted after that recommendation, separately and in phases. The work we take on is operations and systems integration, AI systems, custom software and internal tools, websites and multi-site platforms, WhatsApp business systems, mobile apps, and search and AI visibility, which runs as a monthly engagement.

We do not publish a price list and we do not sell packages. What a piece of work costs is settled in the written quotation for it.

3. Nothing on this site is a quote

The pages here describe the kind of work we do and work we have done. They are not an offer, a quote, an estimate, or a guarantee of any result. Price, timeline and scope exist only once they are written into an agreement and signed.

Case studies and articles describe particular projects and our view at the time of writing. They do not promise the same outcome for anyone else.

Reading the site, sending an enquiry, or having the first conversation does not by itself make you a client.

4. Project work

Scope, deliverables, timelines, fees, invoicing, change requests and how either side can end an engagement are set in the written agreement for that project. This page does not set them and does not override them.

A written recommendation is advice. It is based on what we were shown and told at the time, and on our judgement then. It is not a warranty, and the decisions you take on it remain yours.

5. Intellectual property

What we build for you is yours. The code, the repository and the infrastructure are yours, and the written recommendation is yours whatever you decide to do with it, including handing it to somebody else to act on. The terms of that ownership are agreed in writing before the build starts, in the agreement for the project.

This site is ours. The text, images, design, and the Shape Shifters name and logo on shapeshifters.dev are ours or licensed to us. You are welcome to read it, quote it with attribution, and link to it. Please do not copy it wholesale or publish it as your own.

We keep the right to reuse general skills, methods and non-proprietary components, including ones we develop during an engagement. That does not extend to anything specific to your business, your data or your systems.

6. Using this site

Please use the site lawfully. Do not try to gain unauthorised access to it, disrupt it, or overload it. If you think you have found a security problem, tell us instead — the address is in our security.txt file, and it is the same one at the bottom of this page.

The contact form is for genuine enquiries. Please do not send false details, other people’s personal information without their permission, or anything unlawful.

We publish a machine-readable description of this site and an enquiry endpoint, so an AI agent may send us an enquiry on your behalf. An enquiry sent that way is treated as coming from you.

We may restrict or withdraw access to the site from anyone who misuses it.

7. Other people’s services

Parts of the site are run by other companies. The booking calendar on the contact page is Cal.com’s, running in a frame inside our page. The WhatsApp button opens a conversation in WhatsApp, which is run by Meta. The contact page can show a Google map, and Google Analytics runs only if you accept it. Any link that takes you off shapeshifters.dev leads to a service we do not control.

Once you are on someone else’s service, their terms and their privacy policy apply, not ours. We are not responsible for their content, their availability, or what they do with your information.

What this site collects, who else sees it, and what we do with anything you send us is set out in our privacy policy at /privacy.

8. The site is provided as it is

We keep the site running and up to date as best we can, but we do not promise that it will always be available, that it will be free of errors, or that it will be free of harmful components. Content can go out of date between updates.

To the extent the law allows, the site and its content are provided without warranties of any kind. Warranties on project work, if there are any, are set in the agreement for that project.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of this site, including lost profit, lost business and lost data.

Nothing on this page limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version on this page is always the current one, and the date at the top says when it last changed. We do not notify people individually. If you keep using the site after a change, the updated terms apply.
